Thanks to everyone who made our 2017 Neonatal Care Conference a huge success. Our speakers and topics were exceptional. We will share the evaluation comments and topic ideas at our October meeting. While our conference is still small, we increase our profit each year. This is important to continue to jeep our conference affordable. Our vendors truly keep our costs down.
As we close out the year, we have several CEU opportunities. In addition to the NANN Conference, the Neonatal update ins Iowa City is October 4th. The state AWHONN conference will be at Blank on October 10th. NANN members will receive the AWHONN registration fee. We will have CEUs provided at our October 18th meeting at ChildServe. Mark your calendars for November 21st. Mead Johnson will sponsor a dinner and CEUs at Biaggi's. Our main chapter goal is to provide affordable education opportunities for our members.
We have several members attending the NANN Conference. For the first time, NANN will be in Providence, Rhode Island. The conference looks amazing. Stephanie Stewart will be doing a paper presentation. Iowa ill be well represented. We will share our conference experience at the January meeting.
Finally, I want to thanks each and every one of our IANN members for supporting our chapter. When you renew your NANN and IANN membership, you are providing support for our chapter. You are being accountable for your profession. We also provide money for education and dues support. You only need to come to a couple of meetings a year to be eligible. I love the friendship we have developed and the networking opportunities that are available. We are doing great work here in Iowa. Caring for our littlest superheroes is what we do best! What else can we do as a chapter?
See you soon,
